On Friday, 11 September 2026, the Director of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD COE), Brigadier General Zacharias KOUTRAKIS, GRC (AF), welcomed Mr. Scott S. Lacy, Professional Staff Member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Mr. Lacy was accompanied by Mr. Ethan Tidwell, Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Athens.
Mr. Lacy was briefed on the Centre’s mission, ongoing activities, and contribution to NATO’s Integrated Air and Missile Defence capabilities. The discussions highlighted the importance of multinational cooperation, innovation, and knowledge sharing in addressing emerging security challenges.
