On the 17th of October 2024, the Integrated Air & Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD CoE) had the honor of presenting its mission and vision to the Foreign Defence Attachés accredited to Greece (representing Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, The Netherlands, Türkiye, Switzerland, South Korea, Spain, UAE, UK, USA and Zimbabwe), during their formal presents to the area of Chania.
The delegation was headed by Captain Federico Antonio Garcia Castro ESP (N), Defence Attaché of Spain to Greece.
The Defence Attachés were additionally briefed by Brigadier General Nikolaos Makrygiannis GRC (AF), Director of the IAMD CoE, on the Centre’s transformational capabilities, its existing and planned facilities, as well as its contribution to the NATO Alliance.
