On Friday 21 October 2022, Commander of the Combined Air Operations Centre Torrejon (CAOC-TJ) Lieutenant General (OF-8) Fernando De La Cruz CARAVACA ESP (AF) paid an official visit to IAMD COE, at Souda Air Force Base.
During his visit, General CARAVACA was escorted by:
- General (OF-6) Evangelos TZIKAS GRC (AF), Deputy Commander CAOC – TJ, and
- Maj (OF-3) Alejandro TALAVERA ESP (AF), Assistant Officer.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the mission, facilities, and transformational capabilities of the Centre, and highlighted the support that IAMD COE provides to NATO Alliance. Also there was the opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest and recognized possible common fields for future cooperation.
