On Thu 03rd of June 2021, the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD CoE), organized and hosted virtually the 1st meeting of the Steering Committee for the year 2021 (SCM 1/21).
SC members from Greece as Framework Nation and Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey as Sponsoring Nations (SN) participated in the SCM. Representatives from Slovakia, Brigadier General Mr. Ladislav Dovhum (AF), Deputy Commander of the Slovak Air Force and from France, joined the SCM 1/21 as observers.
The meeting was also attended by Flag Officer/General Officer (FOGO) Champion, Brigadier General Philippe Boisgontier, from the Allied Command Transformation (ACT), who expressed the satisfaction of the Command for the work produced by the IAMD CoE.
During the SCM1/21, the members had the opportunity to be informed in detail and to discuss issues related to the development of the Centre’s Program of Work for the year 2021 (POW21).
The 2nd meeting of the steering committee is scheduled with a physical presence in Crete in early November 2021.
