On Wednesday, April 1st of 2026, the Director of the Integrated Air & Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD CoE), Brigadier General Zacharias KOUTRAKIS, GRC (AF), welcomed the Ambassador of Finland Mrs Leena Pylvänäinen.
She was briefed on the Centre’s mission, ongoing activities, and its contribution to NATO’s Integrated Air and Missile Defence capabilities. The discussions highlighted the importance of multinational cooperation, innovation, and knowledge-sharing in addressing emerging security challenges.
Madame Ambassador showed great interest in the work and activities of the Centre and expressed a strong willingness to explore opportunities for future cooperation. She also conveyed her appreciation for the IAMD COE’s role in strengthening NATO’s defensive capabilities.
