On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Integrated Air & Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD COE) had the honor of welcoming the Permanent Representatives of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) in Chania.
During the visit, the Director of the IAMD COE, Brigadier General Zacharias Koutrakis, presented the Centre’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives, emphasizing its pivotal role within the NATO framework.
Furthermore provided a detailed briefing on the capabilities of the Centre — both in its current operations and future facilities. The visit reaffirmed the strong commitment of the IAMD COE to serve as a hub of knowledge and innovation in the field of Integrated Air and Missile Defence in SACEUR’s area of responsibility.
