On Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th of September 2024, the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Center of Excellence (IAMD CoE), hosted the meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) for the year 2024, at Chania, Crete.
The Steering Committee meeting was attended by:
- Brigadier General (OF-6) Nektarios DOUROUDAKIS GRC (A), as Chairperson from Framework Nation of Hellenic Republic,
- Lt Col (OF-4) Nikolay NENOV BGR (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Republic of Bulgaria,
- Col (OF-5) Yaroslav DAVERNY CZE (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Czech Republic,
- Lt Col (OF-4) Olivier BIRELLI FRA (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of France,
- Col (OF-5) Dimitrios ARGYRIS GRC (A), as National Representative from Framework Nation of Hellenic Republic,
- Col (OF-5) Virgil TOSA ROU (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Romania,
- Maj (OF-3) Selman ONGUM TUR (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Republic of Türkiye and,
- LCDR Kaiulani WATTERS USA (N), as an Observer, from EUCOM NATO Policy COE/MOU Manager.
During the meeting, the members approved the Center’s Program of Work Revision 2 for the year 2024 (POW 2024), the proposed POW 2025, and the proposed Budget for the following year (Fiscal Year 2025). The next meeting of the Steering Committee is scheduled for October 2025, with physical presence in IAMD COE new premises, at Souda Bay/Chania/Crete.
