From 19th to 20th June of 2024, the 3rd IAMD COE Annual Conference titled: “Integrated Air & Missile Defence: Shaping the Operational Environment to Our Advantage” took place at the NMIOTC premises. It was attended by more than 195 participants from 26 Nations, representing a plethora of entities from National and International Organizations, the Academic community, and the Aerospace and Defence Industry.
The Chief of Staff of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), Lieutenant General Konstantinos ZOLOTAS, commenced the Conference with the Host Nation’s opening remarks.
IAMD COE Director, Brigadier General Nikolaos MAKRYGIANNIS GRC (AF) at his welcome address presented the Center and setting the scene for the conference stressed the need to exploit the Synthetic Environment to enhance NATO IAMD Capabilities.
The Conference’s Keynote speakers were Colonel Christopher HILL US Army, Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space (PEO-MS), and Colonel Stuart HAY GB (A), Commander of the 7th Air Defence Group.
