On Monday 11 March 2024, General Philippe LAVIGNE, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, visited the Integrated Air & Missile Defence Centre of Excellence (IAMD CoE), at Souda Air Force Base in Crete.
The General was welcomed by Major General Nikolaos KOKKONIS, GRC (AF), IAMD COE outgoing Director, and Brigadier General Nikolaos MAKRYGIANNIS GRC (AF) IAMD COE incoming Director.
During the visit, the General had the opportunity to be informed about the mission, the facilities, the capabilities, the vision, and the ongoing projects of the Centre along with IAMD COE support to the NATO Alliance Transformation.
