On Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of September 2023, the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Center of Excellence (IAMD CoE), hosted the meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) for the year 2023, at NAMFI’s Officers Club “ASTERIA”, Chania Crete.
The Steering Committee meeting was attended by:
- Brigadier General (OF-6) Nikolaos GIAPRAKAS GRC (AF), as Chairperson from Framework Nation of Hellenic Republic,
- Lt Col (OF-4) Nikolay NENOV BGR (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Republic of Bulgaria (via VTC),
- Lt Col (OF-4) Vladimir RSFFAJ CZE (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Czech Republic,
- Lt Col (OF-4) Olivier BIRELI FRA (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of France,
- Col (OF-5) Dimitrios NIKOLAKAKOS GRC (A), as National Representative from Framework Nation of Hellenic Republic,
- Col (OF-5) Virgil TOSA ROU (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Romania and
- Maj (OF-3) Selman ONGUN TUR (AF), as National Representative from Sponsoring Nation of Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, the members approved the Center’s Program of Work Revision 2 for the year 2023 (POW 2023), the proposed POW 2024 and the proposed Budget for the following year (Fiscal Year 2024). The next meeting of the Steering Committee is scheduled for September 2024, with physical presence in IAMD CoE new premises, at Souda Bay, Crete.
